The flight status for the flight I’m on now is “Mu717.” I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this way, because it makes me wonder about life.

The plan was to take off in one of the two small F-16s that the US military has stationed in Anv-3. The F-16s’ pilot isn’t allowed to fly them on their own, but they are programmed to follow the “fly as a team” directive. So the pilot just has to fly as close to the edge of the island as possible. This isn’t just a dumb pilot thing, either.
