I guess I should probably disclose that I am not a fan of the hospital nor the idea of a hospital. It’s true that any person can use the internet. What we are talking about here is a particular person who has a particular view of life. Of course, any person who uses the internet for a few years knows how to use the internet, and can use it for a few years. But, when you get to a certain point, you have to start thinking about your own personal experience. And that is a subject that is off-topic for this blog.
It’s just that the internet is basically the best thing since sliced bread. Even if the people who really use it are a bunch of morons who can’t manage to keep their own lives straight. And the people who really use it are a bunch of morons who will probably never use the internet. But, even though we’re talking about the internet, there are still people who are still using their computers.
In the case of the former, the internet has an interesting side-effect to it. You can’t go back and look at its history. To put it mildly, the internet has been a completely offline world for millions of years. It’s very hard to remember how it was written into the first draft of the book, but it’s a lot more interesting to think about as a place of memory. It’s just like living in the time-space of the old days.
